PROJECT TITLE: The Graphics e-Toolkit – An introduction to Photoshop skill training.
THE PROCESS:
The process of creating instructional learning requires a series of procedures, from the Need analysis of what problem you are trying to solve to the self evaluation of the process from the learners and other stake holders of the process. It's an ongoing process that may change as the learning environment changes.
Here are a few steps are used to create the instruction for an introductory photoshop course skill training for adults.

THE PROBLEM
The need is that there is not enough training in computer graphics training for students in the developing world, The Graphics e-Toolkit (GET) enables students in the developing world to access and learn graphics learning and skills more effectively. With the toolkit students are able to learn new skills and processes that would not have been available to them prior, utilizing methods of training that will give the best possible effective this kind of learning.
The first thing that will be taught will be opening and editing an image preferably a self portrait and making it black and white, for use on their personal websites or portfolios. This image will be taken using a smart phone or camera which ever is available.
The students will create and edit an image of themselves for use for professional purposes like portfolio websites and professional social sites. They will take their own picture, and open in Photoshop, change the lighting of the image, edit the background and make it black and white, and save it in a new folder.
Learner analysis is important to enable the ID to be able to get an analysis of who they are instructing, from the prior knowledge, skill and education level, the learn anaylsis data enables proper preparation for the instruction.
4. Learner Context/Performance
Its important that the Instructional designer knows what kind of situtation the learners will be instructed in, from the actually environmental aspects of the location to the students, to the availability of certain equipment, to the kind of quipment that will be used. The analysis goes a long way into informing the Instructional Designer, how the learners performance will be impacted by these considerations.

As the name suggest, the Instructional Designer (ID) needs to find the best way to carry out the instruction, that keeps the learner motivated and interested. From pretests, video chat sessions, appropriate feedback - all these enhance the ID's methods of instruction delivery.

PROJECT FORMATIVE EVALUATION
This questionaire is given to the learners to answer. It is useful feedback for the instructor to get as they continue to fine tune their instruction processes.
10. Material revision analysis
At this stage of the process, as an instructional designer material revision are made to fine tune the course outlay to be more effective, from the the mistakes seen and from feedback from questionaires from SIMs of learners.
